Festen is Manos Milonakis’s original score for a theatrical adaptation of Thomas Vinterberg’s film of the same name.

Focusing on the immediacy of classical instruments and honesty of human performances, Festen results from 3 months of theatrical rehearsals and studio work - a soundscape odyssey fusing piano, wurlitzer piano, synthesizers, persephone, glockenspiel, violin, viola, cello, guitar, beat programming and loop processing.
